What You'll Get
Golf is considered a gentleman’s game because of its emphasis on proper etiquette, color-coordinated outfits, and the removal of all brass knuckles and inflatable billy clubs before competition. Engage in this refined pursuit with today’s Groupon to Lake Doster Golf Club in Plainwell. Choose between the following options:
- For $48, you get a golf outing for two with one cart rental (up to a $95 value).
- For $89, you get a golf outing for four with two cart rentals (up to a $181 value).</p>
Both packages include the following for each member of the outing:
- 18 holes of golf (up to $26 per person)
- Cart fee ($14 per person)
- Hot dog and chips ($5)
- One beer or soda (up to $2.75)
After conquering the first two holes, golfers approach the elevated tee box of the signature Little Monster, a treacherous par 3 that is surrounded by water and deep bunkers on three sides, offering little room for error. The difficult short shot is a preview of the course’s remaining holes, which are sprinkled with undulating fairways and well-designed approaches and surrounded by lush foliage and rolling terrain. A semiprivate course, Lake Doster Golf Club carves through 180 acres of wooded forest to sculpt a scenic layout protected by mischievous Wild Things.
Before each round, orb whackers can warm up on Lake Doster’s driving range and practice green before zipping from tee-to-tee in the included cart. After 18 holes, players relax with their included lunch at the club’s bar and grill while eating away the painful memory of phrases such as “bogey,” “mulligan,” and “sunken golf cart.”
