Like learning to use chopsticks, ice skating takes patience, dedication, and a particularly dexterous set of toes. Show off how flexible your feet are with this Groupon.
Choose Between Two Options

- $89 for a 12-week beginner's skating class (a $180 value)
Starting January 4, the Learn to Skate class helps students learn the skills and techniques necessary to confidently skate forward and backward, stop, and jump. Groups are separated according to age, with Tot classes for 3- to 5-year-olds and sessions for 6- to 12-year-olds or teens and adults. Students attend one 30-minute class every week and receive two open-skate passes. Click here for a list of class times.
Lake Forest Ice Palace and Aliso Viejo Ice Palace
The pristine sheets of ice at Ice Palace’s outposts in Lake Forest and Aliso Viejo serve as well-kept tundras ideal for diversions such as hockey, figure-skating, and public-skating sessions. Future NHL stars and misinformed basketball players can both sharpen their stick-handling skills in the facilities' Learn to Play Hockey programs, whereas Learn to Figure Skate sessions teach beginners everything from forward and backward moves to entry-level jumps and spins. Held throughout the week at both locations, open-skating sessions allow the general public to let loose as couples slip on their skates, hold hands, and fearlessly tie each other's laces.
