What You'll Get
Guest conductor Nikolas Caoile will be at the podium for the latest concert from the acclaimed LUCO at Town Hall Seattle. Now in its 21st season, the symphony is set to showcase four pieces by the leading composers of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Paul Dukas may be famed for his Sorcerer's Apprentice, but his brass-focused Fanfare From La Peri is also well-known and well-loved. Ravel and Stravinsky's modern updates of former works, Le Tombeau de Couperin and Pulcinella are also on the bill, as is Rachmaninoff's Russian-influenced masterwork Symphonic Dances.
