In Cole Porter's charming musical comedy, beautiful and pretentious socialite Tracy Lord is just days away from marrying a dull but safe executive when her ex-husband turns up in a last-ditch attempt to win her back. Things get even more complicated when a charming journalist reporting on the nuptials falls head over heels for Tracy. As the wedding day approaches, everyone's left guessing which of the three men will await Tracy at the altar. Adapted from the two hit films -- 1940's The Philadelphia Story and 1956's High Society -- this musical bubbles over with Porter's beautiful tunes, including "Just One of Those Things," "It's All Right With Me" and "Well, Did You Evah!" See this production of High Society at the Lake Worth Playhouse.
