Q:

How much is the fee for the shuttle to the river? Is the river suitable for beginners?

LeChele M.  asked on  May 18, 2013

A:

the fee is $25 per person but we need a minimum of 4 to do this. There is another company that can shuttle you if we are full. There is a beginner, easier section. If you have good balance and are adventurous you will have fun...

Yes, it includes a life jacket and paddle. Oh, and the complimentary beer after the trip

Q:

How is the availibility? I would like to plan this as a big group thing, and was wondering if you have availibility the weekend of June 15th.

Sarah L.  asked on  May 17, 2013

A:

As of now, we have plenty of space! We have 15 boards available at any time. But call as soon as you have your groupon confirmations and we can book out the boards for you. How many people do you have?

Q:

We have 10 and 11 year old grandkids who would love this and are great swimmers...can they do this with the two old farts sitting on the sidelines?

Karen C.  asked on  May 16, 2013

A:

I would not suggest this. It would be good to have an adult supervise from the water. We are very safety conscious, but this is just a rental so you can do what you want with it. There are some smaller lakes around that will be available.

Q:

Do you have to have experience? I have never tried paddleboarding before but I would like to give it a try!

Jennifer G.  asked on  May 16, 2013

A:

You do not have to have any experience. It is only a rental, so you can go try the boards on lakes around the area or on the river. Both are not too hard if you have good balance.
