A Tony winner for Best Play, The Miracle Worker now comes to Coronado's Lamb's Players Theatre, telling afresh the true story of Keller's young teacher, Annie Sullivan, and her heroic efforts to give the blind, deaf and mute girl the gift of language. In some of the most emotional and powerful scenes you'll ever see on stage, Sullivan helps Keller overcome her rage and confusion and learn to communicate. Keller would triumph, going on to become one of the most influential women of the 20th century. This longtime family favorite was made into an acclaimed 1962 film, winning Oscars for its stars Anne Bancroft and Patty Duke. This version is set to star Kelsey Venter and Lucia Vecchio.
