Preschool, which takes place Monday–Friday from 9 a.m. to noon, uses play, hands-on activities, and movies to teach Spanish to non-native speakers. Running from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., afterschool enrichment combines aftercare with a curriculum that features new subjects every day.
In addition to a homeschooling curriculum in English, math, and science, students must complete music, arts, and foreign-language classes. Parents can direct Language and Art Centers to teach their children a subject of their choice once a week between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Subjects are appropriate for prekindergarten through high school.
Language and Art Centers
Through educational programs in English, Spanish, and other languages, the instructors at Language and Art Centers introduce kids, teens, and grownups to a world of new activities and topics. Daycares, camps, and prekindergarten immerse little ones in intensive curricula, while tutoring sessions and adult language classes impart subject-specific wisdom. Arts programs also teach students of all ages creative ways to express themselves through paint, music, dance, or alphabet-block structures.
