Lantern St. Grill and Tap House
With its sports-bar atmosphere, Lantern St. Grill and Tap House seems like the type of place where food is nothing more than an afterthought. However, when he purchased the space, owner Aaron Morrison made sure to hire a chef who could make tasty, creative dishes.
He came up with monte cristo egg rolls dunked in a cucumber wasabi sauce, cuban sandwiches, and—instead of regular chicken and waffles—fried chicken, smoked bacon, and blueberries all wrapped up in a fluffy pancake and topped with powdered sugar, more bacon and blueberries, and agave.
Even with such tasty dishes, there's no doubt that Lantern St. Grill and Tap House is, above all, a bar where adults go to hang out with friends, catch the game, and unwind with a cold beer from 1 of 12 taps. They can also practice their victory-dance pirouettes while shooting pool, playing Golden Tee, and throwing darts.
