Limited to 20 students, the three-hour Digital Camera Basics workshop examines the manual settings of DSLR cameras. Pupils learn about shutter speed, f-stops, and ISO, as well as crucial composition tips.
The daylong Introduction to Digital Photography class delves deeper into camera principles, starting with the lessons learned in the basics workshop. After breaking for lunch, the classes—capped at 12 students—reconvene in a local park to practice with lighting, posing, and camera settings. A model will assist the class, helping students get the hang of showing their subjects how to pose.
