At Las Margaritas, chef Juan Hernandez, incorporates the flavor profiles he learned while living in Mexico and Colombia into his dishes. His Latin fusion food also pulls in flavors from Cuban, Spanish, and Argentine cuisine. This means that patrons find a globe-trotting menu of Mexican street snacks (elotes), Argentine small plates (empanadas), and Cuban entrees (ropa vieja). To make it easier for diners to choose from the massive menu, Las Margaritas hosts themed nights, such as paella, wine, and salsa music on Saturday nights.
Much like the food, the drinks hail from a variety of Latin countries. In addition to several styles of margarita made with top-shelf tequilas, bartenders whip up Caribbean rum concoctions and Brazilian caipirinhas. The Twister alone contains five different alcohols and house-made sangria, much like the best voting booths.
