What You'll Get
Like the Tin Man, bikes need to be properly lubed or they'll break down on long journeys and be carried away by flying monkeys. Protect your mechanical companion with today's Groupon: for $29, you get a complete bicycle tune-up from Las Vegas Cyclery (a $60 value).
Las Vegas Cyclery's mechanics clean bicycles' frames and innards, leaving two-wheeled vehicles with that fresh new-bike smell. Wheel truing straightens wobbly wheels, preventing them from darting off in the direction of a sausage cart, and adjustments of brakes, bearings, and derailleurs keep parts from sliding straight off newly oiled chains and cables. Finally, a tire-pump inflates wheels with air and a lasting sense of invulnerability.
In addition to bicycle repairs, Las Vegas Cyclery also stocks bikes for rent or purchase, including road, mountain, BMX, and Hybrid. The shop also vends parts, wheels, accessories, helmets, and clothing, ensuring that a rider is never forced to join the ranks of the infamous-yet-elusive nude cyclists. The Cyclery's sister company, Escape Adventures, sends intrepid wheelers out on daily tours through the majestic Las Vegas Black Velvet Canyon, Cottonwood Pass, and Joshua Tree Forest.

About Wild Thing Triathlon
The Wild Thing Triathlon is a little different from your typical three-sport endurance race. For one, it's designed for both and kids to complete. That's why it boasts two courses: a longer one and a scaled-down shorter one accessible to kids age 3 and older. Another creative touch? It progresses backwards—running comes first, followed by biking, then a current-assisted swim in Wet 'n' Wild water park's lazy river. For an extra dose of kid-friendliness, contestants who prefer not to swim can wade too, although sending a stunt double down the river is not allowed.
