Las Vegas Walking Tours
Known around the world for its colorful casinos and unending nightlife, Las Vegas is also home to history and happenings known only to locals. The guides at Las Vegas Walking Tours show off Vegas's insider haunts during two separate walking tours. On the two-and-a-half-hour Downtown Las Vegas tour, guests discover the stories behind some of the area's most important locales. From the spot where settler first stepped off of the train in 1905 to venerable casinos such as the Golden Nugget and the Las Vegas Club, guests catch a glimpse of Vegas's early days. They also encounter some of the city's most notable current residents; tours of Fremont Street also include stops at Gold & Silver Pawn and Rick's Restorations, two businesses featured prominently on History's Pawn Stars and American Restoration.
For those in search of even more local color, Las Vegas Walking Tours also schedules a two-hour Fremont Street tour. Beneath the glow of the Fremont Street Experience light canopy, guests depart on a two-hour tour in search of secrets ranging from $12 unlimited champagne brunch to 19th-century chandeliers saved from the San Francisco Opera House. As they walk the same streets frequented by members of the Rat Pack, guests also learn about more recent developments such as the tech-fueled Fremont East, and Container Park, a family-friendly recreation area built from recycled shipping containers.
