Choose from Three Options

  • $49 for an Italian Pasta gift basket (a $100 value)
  • $49 for a Festive Holiday gift basket (a $100 value)
  • $49 for a Fall Gathering gift basket (a $100 value)

The foundation of the Italian Pasta basket is a stainless-steel pasta pot filled with an array of Latona's Specialties’ housemade items, including extra-virgin olive oil, house-stuffed olives, breadsticks, and fine cheese. Taffy, candy, and Jelly Belly jelly beans sweeten the Festive Holiday basket’s mix of Latona’s Specialties’ fine cheeses and tapenade, to name a few items. The heartier Fall Gathering basket has cured and dried Italian sausage, cheese straws, and balsamic vinegar, among other specialty items. Each basket includes Italian pasta and a jar of Latona's Specialties’ housemade tomato sauce and is subject to substituted items of equal quality and value.

Latona's Specialties

Michael Latona emigrated from southern Italy to North Jersey in the 1950s. Meanwhile, his future wife and business partner, Joanne, was making the same journey. When the two met, they realized not only did they share a common background but also common values and a passion for homemade things. This connection was the foundation for their marriage and Latona’s Specialties, a manifestation of their values and passions. Currently, their son Joe oversees the shop’s selection of gourmet food and gifts, many of which are made by hand. The shop houses jars of housemade pasta sauces, stacks of hand-painted Vietri dinnerware, and bowls of more than 40 deli dishes, including stuffed olives and dried italian sausage, that are made each morning. Other items include Italian pasta, colorful Ne’Qwa Art wine stoppers, and an array of scented candles, lotions, and soaps that finally give the nose something to wash itself with.
