What’s your favorite part about your job?
What I love about my job is that it doesn't feel like work. Different personalities always make for an exciting work week. Each day brings new salon guests and a variety of services. But the most incredible feeling by far? Experiencing the guest's reaction when the big reveal happens and they love what they see. Completely rewarding.

When and how did you first develop a passion for your work?
It all started after graduating college. I had tried a few jobs in my field and nothing clicked. I didn't just want to have a job. I wanted to love the job I have. I knew I loved meeting new people and being creative, so I took a chance and enrolled in cosmetology school. I know every job has particular parts that are less than enjoyable, but to have a passion for what I do each and every day was my overall goal. I feel that the cosmetology industry has given me that. I couldn't imagine doing anything else.

What steps do you take to make your clients feel at ease?
From the moment a guest enters my salon, my goal is to make them feel welcome. I offer a warm introduction and let them know where they can set their belongings while they receive services. The guest is then given a luxurious robe or cape that is soft to the touch. While in the chair, I offer a hot or cold beverage and begin the consultation. I have a detailed and thorough conversation with each and every client to ensure the best possible outcome is achieved with their hair. I want my guests to feel 100% satisfied when they walk out of my door. I know guests work hard to be able to get their services and they deserve the best experience.

Anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?
I am a cosmetologist with over eight years of industry experience. I offer hair coloring, highlights, haircuts, blowouts/styling, waxing, lash applications, and makeup lessons and services. I have a passion for what I do and am excited to meet you, your family, and friends. I'd love to be your future hair and makeup guru.
