Like classic Hollywood films, tennis matches are filled with multiple loves, sneaky backhanded moves, and tense, sweat-inducing court scenes. Add some drama to your day with today’s Groupon: for $50, you get a membership package at Laurel Hill Swim & Tennis Club. The package includes:

  • Two-month indoor tennis membership (a $50 value)
  • Enrollment in the six-week Tennis 101 program (a $59 value)

Laurel Hill Swim & Tennis Club, established in 1965 on the principle of incorporating fun into fitness, plays host to energetic, USPTA-certified instructors who pass along their racket mastery to tenderfoot tennis students during six-week Tennis 101 courses. Throughout the 90-minute sessions, students new to the sport glean tips on tennis basics such as stroke form and technique before painstakingly perfecting John McEnroe–inspired outbursts. Additionally, Groupon customers of Laurel Hill Swim & Tennis Club can take two months to capitalize on the facility’s indoor tennis, racquetball, and wallyball courts to hone their newly acquired skills between lessons.

Laurel Hill Swim & Tennis Club

Although Laurel Hill Swim & Tennis Club has amassed a high concentration of USPTA-certified instructors, they share their expertise with more than just professional players. Tennis 101 classes taught on both indoor and outdoor courts, impart beginners with the fundamentals of forehands, backhands, and net play and cardio tennis develops proper footwork while vanquishing calories. Serious competitors and novice players alike benefit from the Club’s variety of surface types. Four synthetic grass courts simulate the grassy grounds at the Wimbledon and har-tru courts replicate courts used during the French Open and hard surfaces replicate courts used at the U.S. and Australian Opens.
