Q:

I like to sign my daugher up for a riding lesson, she's 6, and has only been on a pony a few times, which one would you suggest for her. I don't wish to ride. TY

Leanne L.  asked on  Sep 1, 2012

A:

I would suggest the Mommy and Me class (parents don't ride, they are just there for support), she gets to learn on the ground first and then ride. If she likes it we can move her up for her next lesson to the half hour private.

Q:

My granddaughter just turned 4 and I would love to do this with her. First, would a grandma be accepted instead of mom and a 15 minute ride probably would just get her going, so could I buy two and have the the stable and riding lesson turned into 30 minutes each?

Joyce G.  asked on  Aug 30, 2012

A:

If you would like, you can get her the 30 minute lesson as opposed to the Mommy and Me, and they get to ride longer. I would prefer only one coupon per child.

Q:

I have 2 neices who are 13 years old. May I purchase 2 for the girls - I don't want to ride but would love to take them both for the day and sign each up for a 1 hour lesson during the same time - is this possible with this groupon deal?

Sue-Ellen K.  asked on  Aug 29, 2012

A:

That would be fine, they can ride together.

Q:

can a 3 year old use the 1 hour private lesson or does it have to be the 0 min mommy and me?

anke h.  asked on  Aug 29, 2012

A:

The hour is a bit long for a 3 year old, we could do the 30 minute lesson instead of the Mommy and Me if you prefer. (They ride a bit longer in that lesson)

Q:

Limit 1 and 1 as gift, I was going to buy on for the mommy and me pony lesson, can I buy two for use with the same child on different days? Thank you.

Anthony C.  asked on  Aug 29, 2012

A:

We would prefer you only use one Groupon per child.

Q:

Do you practice natural horsemanship (i.e. Clinton Anderson)?

Jenna S.  asked on  Aug 29, 2012

A:

We do apply some Natural Horsemanship in our training with the horses, but I do not "teach" it specifically.

Q:

I have two granddaughters 3 and 5 would the pony ride be good for both Dennis

Dennis D.  asked on  Aug 29, 2012

A:

I would recommend the pony ride for both to start with, and if they would like to continue with lessons the 5 year old could move up to a 30 minute private lesson and the 3 year old can either move up or stay with the Mommy and Me depending on comfort and skill levels.

Q:

Do you have to have a child for this groupon. Can you just take a 60 minute lesson as an adult. Also do you have trail rides because I do know how to ride but love horses and would love to ride. Thank you, Phyllis Cooney

Phyllis C.  asked on  Aug 29, 2012

A:

Our riders are ages 2 through adult. For intermediate through advanced riders we sometimes offer trail rides but only after a few lessons in the arena. The Groupon is for ages 2 through adult, but the Mommy and Me is for ages 2-4 (or 5).
