Guests at chef Didier Pawlicki's Le Village often choose to start their meals on a classically French note with an appetizer of french onion soup or housemade pâté with dijon mustard. From there, however, things tend to get a little more interesting. The entrees betray obvious French influences, but certain dishes—the gnocchi stuffed with truffles and swiss cheese comes to mind—owe equally to flavors from across Europe. After a main course of coq au vin or eggplant lasagna, finish your meal with a brandy-infused prune or by standing and joining your fellow diners in a stirring rendition of "La Marseillaise."
