Held at a variety of local establishments, the approximately two-hour Wine Camp covers wine basics from the history of the winemaking craft to wine-pairing techniques to proper storage and service. Pupils practice their newly acquired knowledge during a tasting of seven wines, which vary depending on the class location. The intensive Learn About Wine (LAW) School course transforms beginning and experienced students alike into wellsprings of oenophilic knowledge. Students begin with advance reading from the course textbook, the Culinary Institute of America’s Exploring Wine (not included with this Groupon), followed by four weekly three-hour class sessions.
