$69 for a Sunday Wine-Country Limo Tour ($179 Value)
Running approximately six hours on Sundays, tours begin once limos pick riders up at Macy’s Rosedale Center, located in the upper lot between Macy’s and J.C. Penny’s. Cruising toward wine country, the tour stops first at a tasting at WineHaven and heads next to Eichtens Hidden Acres, a family farm where they will sample a variety of artisan cheeses designed to pair well with wine. While there, customers can enjoy a quick bite at the onsite restaurant; a discounted lunch menu will be available for Lee’s Limo Tour customers. Back in the limo, enjoy the sights of the Saint Croix River valley en route to Chateau St. Croix Winery & Vineyard for a tasting of select wines, followed by a tasting at Wild Mountain Winery. During the limo ride back to Rosedale, guests can uncork their newly purchased bottles of wines and share among new friends. Tours will sometimes stop at Northern Vineyards or Saint Croix Vineyard in lieu of one of the other three wine stops.
Since purchasing a used limo in 1993, Leland “Lee” Casto has had the same job: transporting clientele on trips and tours throughout the Twin Cities. His fleet, however, is now significantly larger, with numerous vehicles including stretch limos that fit 6–22 passengers. Guests can sip refreshments from tumblers and champagne flutes as Lee whisks them off on all types of journeys, from bar-hopping excursions to airport-bound jaunts. He also accommodates patrons on several tours, which include winery visits, two gangster-themed expeditions, and guided treks past ghost-filled mansions and twinkling holiday lights.
