Q:

I have a pair of oakley sunglass frames already that are prescription ready. Could I use the $200 towards just the oakley lenses? I would also need the eye exam as well. Thanks

Kent S.  asked on  Aug 27, 2012

A:

The $200 must go toward to a complete pair of glasses, lenses and frame. We carry Oakley also.

Q:

What are the additional fees for a contact lens evaluation? Can the $200 go toward purchasing contact lens, or only glasses?

Sarah B.  asked on  Aug 27, 2012

A:

The $200 goes toward glasses only, not toward the purchase of contact lenses. The eye examination includes the comprehensive eye health check and the glasses prescription check. If you want a contact lens evaluation also, the evaluation cost varies depending on what type of contact lenses you are being fit for (ex. single vision, bifocal, monovision, or RGPs). The contact lens evaluation starts at $75 for single vision contact lenses. However, it goes up slightly if need a bifocal, monovision, or RGP contact lenses).

Q:

if I have a prescription and recent eye exam, could the $75 eye exam money go toward the eye glasses instead of an eye exam?

Tammy O.  asked on  Aug 26, 2012

A:

For $75, you get a comprehensive eye examination and $200 goes toward the complete pair of glasses. If you do not want or need an eye examination, then only $200 goes toward the frames and lenses.
