Katie is amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed working with her, and will continue to use her in th future. She has an incredible personality, that comes through in her pictures. Everyone was comfortable and at ease through the whole process. Never have we been so happy with a photographer.

About This Deal

Jump to: Reviews | Photographer or Imposter?

Today's deal gives Denver families three opportunities and 24 months to document any major family event, from holiday portraits to engagement photos to baby's first doctorate in theoretical physics. For $69, you'll receive a Watch Me Grow package from Legacy Zoom Photography, which includes three photography sessions (worth $250 each), one music-enhanced DVD slideshow featuring 30 of the best prints (a $195 value), and one 5x7 print from each session (worth $45 each) for a grand total of $1,080 worth of friendly and professional photography services. The sessions can be arranged for various on-location spots with the photographer.

Katie will digitally remove anything you don't care to remember, such as splotchy faces and ill-advised spring break tattoos, and print all images on UV-sprayed Fuji archival paper so that your children's children's children can look at them and laugh at our era's old-timey hairstyles. You can order your 5x7 prints in color, black and white, or sepia (the color of nostalgia).

Legacy Zoom's Watch Me Grow package will provide a far more beautiful, accurate, and lasting record of your loved ones than that ice sculpture you made of them last Christmas. And if you still need a gift for extended family, friends, and neighborhood millionaire impersonators, Katie can create game-changing and personalized gifts such as photo jewelry, coffee-table albums, and photo dry-erase boards. Just imagine the kicks your parents will get drawing funny mustaches on your newborn.

Yelpers give Legacy Zoom Photography a five-star rating and marvel at Katie’s creativity and friendliness:

  • Katie Hedrick is that rare combination of disarmingly friendly and creative artistry that brings the best out in her subjects, persuading them to step into and capture their brilliance. My daughters absolutely adore her and enthusiastically share their portraits. – John A.
  • We recently hired Katie to take photographs of our family and it was a wonderful experience...This was a different experience as Katie guided us to some unique outdoor locations that helped all of us feel more natural and at ease. As my son said, "She was happy and she liked what she was doing!" – Anne L.

Photographer or Imposter?

Don’t let just any charlatan with a camera take your photo. Here’s a guide to knowing if you’re getting a real, professional photographer or a photography imposter:

The Situation: When you show up at your appointment, the man claiming to be your photographer drives you to the docks where he instructs you on the proper way to load a pallet of DVD players onto a ship. After 14 hours of labor without rest, the photographer offers you $50 and free passage to Haiti for anyone who can rig a sail.
Photographer or Impostor?: You have been hoodwinked by a ship captain. Take the money, well earned for a hard day’s work, but do not sail to Haiti without first getting a rubella inoculation.

The Situation: You wake in the middle of the night to the sound of footsteps downstairs. You investigate, and stumble upon a masked intruder with an armful of your belongings. When confronted, the intruder claims to be a photographer.
Photographer or Impostor?: You are being robbed. By a photographer. You invited him in, in a way, by having things so good.

The Situation: In the photography studio, an energetic young women with a camera begins making you comfortable and snapping photos.
Photographer or Impostor?: Check the “photographer’s” gait. Chances are good that a crocodile has eaten the photographer and taken her place. Don’t let on that you know, lest you get eaten as well.
