Winter Break Camp: January 3-January 6

Our Shooting Camps offer additional instruction in shooting form, repetition, drills and competition. While the emphasis of the camp will be shooting, we will also integrate various teaching points where we focus on establishing a strong foundation of all fundamentals of the game. These fundamentals will include passing, defense, ball handling, footwork, and more!

Our goal in our shooting camp is to provide each camper the opportunity to experience a high number of repetitions. We believe that the best way to learn is to —see, hear, and do.

Each day, campers will be able to apply what they have learned throughout the camp and play in a game against other campers!

Example Schedule:

15-20 min of Ball Handling Skill Development

15-20 min of Form Shooting

20-25 min of Fun / Competitive Camp Shooting Competition

20-25 min of Snack Time

20-25 min of Fundamental Skill Development

20-25 min of Fun / Competitive Camp - integrating Fundamental and Shooting

30-45 min of Game Time/Scrimmage!

About Legarza Basketball Camp

Competitive athletics aren't just about getting points and notching wins to the certified coaches at Legarza Sports. They believe sports can teach children valuable lessons they'll use throughout their lives, showing them how to work as a team, set goals, and communicate positively. Whether they're leading basketball or volleyball camps, the coaches use the Mastery Orientation of teaching, which celebrates personal improvement as much as accomplishment.

They group children by: age, gender, ability, and personal request
