Lenny's is a favorite for its premium deli meats sliced to order, chicken and tuna salad made from scratch, signature hot pepper relish, and hearty portions. A regular-sized Lenny's club, which costs about $6 (prices vary by location), is 7.5-inches long and has about half a pound of meat and cheese. The large, $10 versions are 15-inches long and have a pound of proteins. Lenny's service is always fast and friendly. History of the Sub Sandwich

Submarine sandwiches were named after the Earl of Submarine, who was envious of the fact that his friend, the Earl of Sandwich, successfully put something edible between two pieces of bread and name it after himself. Submarine toiled for years in his underwater laboratory attempting to out-sandwich Sandwich, and after eight years, Submarine finally one-upped Sandwich's sandwich. Unfortunately, he remained trapped in his underwater laboratory until he could invent a vessel that would allow him to surface. Submarine assembled an underwater-breathing-and-surfacing-apparatus using 200 bread rolls and Elmer's glue, and returned to land to rub his triumph into Sandwich's face. Ultimately, both Earls found success in the fields of naming and being much richer than most people.
