About Lewis County Historical Museum

Lewis County Historical Museum takes history buffs back in time to discover and celebrate the local heritage. Part of the permanent exhibition, Chehalis and Cowlitz Indian Tribal Room houses the artifacts of Native Americans, while 1900’s Kitchen and Dining Room, Saw Filing and Blacksmith Shop, Red Bunting Flag and Freight Office showcase the bygone era as it was. With rotating exhibits, regulars can also enjoy something new. On site, there is also a research library holding archives and records chronicling the entire history of Lewis County.
