Commonly Asked Questions

Q:

Does the $35 option, option 3, include everything from the $29 option plus the "common mistakes to avoid", or is it a different online module altogether? Also, how valuable is the workbook and is it important to get it? Many thanks.

Paul H.  asked on  Dec 31, 2012

A:

Hi Paul, The first course aims to give you a base for building your own stock portfolio while the second course aims to make you more street smart based on the 20 years experience of Lex. The workbook is useful for most people but it really depends on the way you learn, so it is an individual choice and not a pre-requisite. Happy trading, The LVDTA Team.

A:

Dear Paul, it is a different online course altogether. It does not include an online course from the $ 29 option. Workbooks accompany all our online courses. Workbooks help to deepen the understanding of the online modules presented. Thank you.

Q:

Do you get a certificate for completing the course? would this course be an advantage on resume? or is it just for us to be educated?

Abarna  asked on  Jan 2, 2013

A:

Hi Abarna, There is an optional exam with certificate. Completing a course like this will show to a potential employer that you have an interest in this field and make you much better prepared for interviews. So it is hard to see how it can hurt you. Hope this helps, Lex.

Q:

It says on the website that the $29 course has 5 30-40 minute videos. How long is the $35 course? For someone who already has a bit of experience trading, which of the two courses would you recommend?

Nick Z.  asked on  Jan 7, 2013

A:

Hi Nick, The second course is 3 modules with a length of between 28 and 48 minutes. The first course is good even for people with experience because it will help you think about your trading and why our method might potentially help you become a better trader. The second course is much more focused on the practical errors one can make and how to avoid them. You can start with either course first and then if you like it get the other one. Happy trading, The LVDTA Team.
