What You'll Get
Despite baseball's unofficial theme song, peanuts and cracker jack were replacements for the original mid-1850s snacks of heavily salted licorice and wooden chewin' slabs. Keep your family traditions classic, but not too classic, with today's Groupon: for $13, you get two club-seat tickets to a Lexington Legends minor-league baseball game at Whitaker Bank Ballpark (up to a $28 value). Check out the team's schedule to choose a home game.
Catch the Lexington Legends this season as they grab grounders, snag flies, and gain leads over the South Atlantic League competition. As a Class A–affiliate team of the Houston Astros, the Legends lavish their club-seat patrons with a bevy of amenities to accompany the sounds of bats cracking balls and the smell of freshly chewed playing surfaces. Seated safely behind home plate and the backstop net, game-goers will get an up-close view of the on-field action with the option of bartering with nearby drink and snack vendors. Fans also have the option of enjoying the Kentucky Ale Taproom, a game-time-exclusive pub with a patio to continuously watch the epic battle of wood versus leather.
Whitaker Bank Ballpark runs specials on certain days of the week—there are $0.34 hot dogs on Tuesdays, kids eat free on Mondays, and kids stumble around the bases like eucalyptus-guzzling koalas following Sunday games.

About Lexington Legends
When the Legends first stepped onto the field at Whitaker Bank Ballpark in 2001, they broke a nearly half-century dry spell of pro baseball in the city of Lexington. That first season, they made their presence known by winning the South Atlantic League championship and trying to rename City Hall after themselves. Since their inauguration in '01, the Legends have sent sent over 80 players to the majors, fulfilling the promise of their name and creating their own legacy.
