Liberty Hill Farm
Gilbert and Opal purchased Liberty Hill Farm back in 1943. Gilbert farmed the land until he passed away in 1994, but shortly thereafter, his grandson Scott took over the operation. Today, Scott and his wife Lisa continue pumping fresh produce and meat into the community. They offer the opportunity to stock up on your own goods through the following programs at the farm:
- The Garden: You-pick memberships at Liberty Hill Farm allow you to harvest the farm's garden throughout the year. During your first visit, you will learn how to spot what produce is ripe, which is much easier than teaching vegetables to talk.
- The Butcher Box: This monthly variety box re-stocks your meat supply with chicken and different cuts of beef and pork. No matter what cuts of meat are inside, though, you can rest assured they are non-GMO and free of nitrates and MSG.
