About Libretti's Restaurant
There's more than one reason Libretti's Restaurant is "guaranteed to bring you back to a time from your grandmother's kitchen." The neighborhood eatery, which first flung open its doors in 1950, serves up made-from-scratch Italian cuisine that ranges from cold antipasto with prosciutto and mozzarella to gnocchi bolognese, spaghetti putanesca, and scallops Libretti spiked with white wine. And while the food is as comforting as a grandmother-stitched quilt, the atmosphere is made just as homey thanks to personal touches from the staff.
Longtime owner Danny Lazzara frequents the dining room, conversing with guests and recommending savory specialties. He and the staff also host live entertainment on the weekends, which includes karaoke nights where guests can croon love songs to their favorite pasta dishes.
