Based in Boulder, SunSquabi is the three-man band behind a sound they're calling electronic hydro funk, and it's made them a festival favorite with acclaimed appearances at SXSW, Euphoria, Sonic Boom, Snowball and elsewhere. Their groove-filled recordings boast a listenable, danceable blend of electric guitar, drums, horns and synth, which translates into a high-energy livetronica performance. They're lately focused on originals, as with their latest EP release, Anytime, but are also known for their remixes of favorites like Phil Collins' "In the Air Tonight" and Gloria Estefan's "Conga."
