Q:

how long must i wait between treatments? I will be vacationing in the area for about a week... would it be possible to do 4 sessions in eod intervals? Saturday, Monday, Wednesday, Friday?

Sierra B.  asked on  Jun 29, 2013

A:

One of the expectations after the treatments is to perform at least 30 minutes of vigorous activity. For those who cannot do this, we do have the whole body vibration (http://lifecarechiropractic.com/blog/home-2/whole-body-vibration/) unit available that can be used immediately after the session, although there is an additional cost for its use. While we generally discourage it, back to back appointments can be done if the patient will ensure they do vigrous activity the evening of the sessions.

Q:

What areas of the body can the laser be done on? Can I do treatments on back to back days or how much time should be between treatments?

Angela L.  asked on  Jun 27, 2013

A:

We have done treatments on most areas. Most common is abdomen, but chest (male), back, thighs, arms and chin. The idea frequency is 2-3 visits / week, although some settle in at once / wk. One strong requirement is to exercise within 24 hours of your treatment session. For those who can't manage this, we do have whole body vibration packages that can help with this requirement.

Q:

Is this the same treatment that Laser Med uses? Lisa Lee.

reisa l.  asked on  Jun 27, 2013

A:

I'm not familiar with Laser Med (tried to look it up, but it's too generic to figure out which one). This procedure is a purely non-invasive laser unit, which is different from most of the units out there like the cool-sculpting units.

A:

Much like everything in life, there are no promises. However, our office has seen good results with the use of laser for enlarged male breasts.

Will 6 procedures take off my "spare tire"? I need to lose about 30 pounds, mostly in my mid section.

A:

The laser is a tool, just like anything else. Losing weight needs to be a combination of lifestyle changes and exercise, and this tool can help in the process.
