Q:

Does this groupon include taking 8mm or super 8 film and transfering to DVD as well?

Elizabeth M.  asked on  Nov 12, 2012

A:

Hi Elizabeth - The Groupon deal is not designed for film, but if you have a number of reels you wanted transfered, we would allow you to use a Groupon for the first 150', which is the $34.99 equivalent of the video tape transfer value. Each additional foot is .29 We look forward to seeing you.

Q:

How does the "group-on deal" work with the above question? and answer.? Would it be 2 hours for $15 dollars on the old reels? If not what? Answer from above - (Yes we transfer old film beautifully. It is charged by the foot, not the hour. 3" reels contain about 50' or 3 minutes of material. The pricing is $34.99 for the first 150' and .29 each additional foot. ))

Q:

i have 16 mini dv's. they are about 30 min each. so i'm confused when you say 2 hours or 2 tapes. if i bought 2 deals would it cover 8 tapes or 4 tapes? thanks

teena g.  asked on  Nov 12, 2012

A:

Hello Teena - 2 Groupons would cover 4 tapes, but you would be able to pay an Add a Tape fee and get 4 additional tapes added (2 to each 2-hour DVD) for a fee of $9.99 for each tape. We're looking forward to serving you.

Q:

Hi... if I have two tapes and each has more than two hours (example: 6 hours each), are both tapes covered by this deal? I'm confused by the offer as I'm not sure if you max out at 2 hours or if you will do two full tapes, regardless of length? Thanks.

Dawn S.  asked on  Nov 12, 2012

A:

Hello Dawn - The first two hours of one tape would be covered by a Groupon. The deal is for up to 2 tapes or up to two hours, whichever comes first. This is because only 2 hours of material will fit on a DVD. Look forward to serving you.

Q:

Are the DVD's uploadable? I am hoping to turn some of our home movies into a digital format that could be shared over the computer. Would these DVD's allow me to do this?

Jessica D.  asked on  Nov 11, 2012

A:

Yes Jessica - you can load these DVDs just like any other and - as long as you have the right software - convert them to any kind of file you like and do anything that the file type allows
