The lights are always nice and the kids always love the rides. The food, however, was not good in 2019 and was much, much better in 2018.

Not nearly as epic as we hoped, but fun. The sea lion show was our favorite part.

About Lights of the World

Lights of the World, one of the largest lights and lantern festivals in North America, combines the age-old tradition of paper lanterns with cutting-edge technology. The Lights of the World lantern displays extend from 18 to 60 feet, amounting to millions of colorful lights, and showcase features of different cultures and civilizations around the globe.

With over 45 stunning displays, Lights of the World promises an unforgettable exploration of global cultures and cuisine. The festival also boasts a litany of other attractions: as visitors walk through, they'll encounter life-like dinosaurs, carnival rides, and a daily performance showcasing the Puppetone Rockers or a sea lion show. Artisans will also be on-site, creating unique, handmade art to commemorate the celebration.
