At LightSpeed Entertainment, LightSpeed not only refers to its go-kart track's speedy vehicles, but also its spaceship-themed laser-tag arena. Here, players battle in the 4,500-square-foot arena, just like Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin fighting over the last astronaut ice cream. But while the game encourages annihilating the opposing team, it is also built with safety in mind, with features such as ramps so players walk instead of run.

At the indoor track, which is 1/10-mile long, drivers race at 25 miles per hour in eco-friendly electric go-karts. And pint-sized racers can also take a spin on the kiddie karts that reach speeds of about 10 miles per hour, the same speed as a kindergartener who's eaten two bowls of Lucky Charms.
