I have been looking for a new place for jumping lessons (I have years of experience, but am a little rusty). Do these packages include jumping lessons, or just flat work? Thanks

Hello Laura, Your instructor may decide when the student can or should jump. Also we only jump our lesson horses 3 times a week and that will impact the scheduling and availability of jumping lessons. If your schedule is flexible and the instructor feels you are ready, jumping lessons are a possibility. Thanks for your question. Patricia

Hello! Do you think this would be a good fit for me? I rode for 10 years through High School in Germany and then again in college in Boston for a couple of years. But honestly, I have not been on a horse in over 10 years. I am definately very rusty. I live on the westside and the only day that it would be feasible to redeem the classes would be on either Saturday or Sundays, if that is an option and there are (potentially) few restrictions on the redemption of the Groupon I would definately purchase a package. But if not,....I completely understand. Best, Marcus

Hi Marcus, We do schedule lessons most nites and weekends to accommodate the working riders. The weekends do book up fast and I recommend you schedule a few weeks in advance of your date preference. The restrictions are listed on the deal and in the fine print. Check it out:) Scheduling is subject to availability of horses, instructors and weather. Best to you, Patricia

What does "saddling" mean? Is there a part where you learn to put the saddle on? Can you just opt to only ride? Thank you!

Hi Shaina, The saddling class is a mandatory class the 3 and 5 lesson deals. The class teaches you the basics of horse handling and tacking up(putting on the equipment). For the 3 and 5 lesson packages the rider is expected to prepare their own horse for riding ( with help as needed). We usually schedule the saddling class and the first riding class together. You may purchase an upgraded lesson where your horse is prepared for you, but this is an additional fee. Spending time with your horse is a good idea and will make you a better rider. I recommend to all our students that they become proficient at the handling and tacking before they move on to having the horse prepared for them. I hope this info helps:) Patricia
