What You'll Get
Today's Groupon gently guides you down a delicious path—with succulent rest stops—that leads to stomach nirvana. For $10, you get $25 worth of American Asian cuisine at Ling and Louie’s Asian Bar and Grill. This Groupon's good at two locations in the Denver area: Northfield and downtown.
Ling and Louie’s menu is a happy mash of American staples (salads, sliders, steak) and Asian delights (pad thai, honey walnut chicken, miso soup). Even if you’re not gastronomically adventurous, you’ll find a dish to please your palate on the menu. Start with the chicken lettuce wraps: crispy cups filled with marinated chicken, red onions, water chestnuts, and a sweet Asian dipping sauce ($8.79). The Evil Jungle Princess shrimp—spicy shrimp that's wok’d with green beans, fresh veggies, Thai basil, and mint and served with a signature peanut-red curry glaze ($14.29)—will tempt seafood lovers. Vegetarians can gorge on Louie's lo mein, a heap of yaki soba noodles stir-fried with vegetables ($9.99). You’ll also find both gluten-free and kids menus, as well as a kids-free gluten menu that contains wheat and no children.
Both the Northfield and downtown restaurants keep late hours on weekends (open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays and 11 p.m. on weekends) and are open every day. Get this Groupon to whet your appetite for ethnic eats. Dining here is like dipping a big toe into the kiddie pool before you plunge into the great, dark sea of eastern tastes.
The press is sizzling over the American–Asian fusion grill concept. Ling and Louie's has mentions in Desert Living, Rocky Mountain News, 5280 Magazine, Denver Westword, and Nation’s Restaurant News. Yelpers give it 3.5 stars, Citysearchers give it four, and 80% of Urbanspooners like it:

Louie and Dewey: America’s Fourth Favorite Comedy Team
Ling and Louie may remind you of Louie and Dewey, one of America’s favorite vaudeville and movie comedy teams. Though never as popular as Abbott and Costello, Louie and Dewey are most remembered today as the comedy team in which one of the members died and the other continued to perform their two-person act solo for another 30 years. Here are some of their famous two-person bits as performed just by Dewey:
Dewey: Say, Louie, I hear you had a rather interesting night at the racetrack last night? Oh really, you lost all your money on a horse that couldn’t lose? Why what was the horses’ name? Ha! That’s very ironic that the horse was named Couldn’t Lose. Good talking to you.
Dewey: Well, actually, Louie, I happen to think my lady friend is quite beautiful…How dare you compare her to a piece of furniture, clever though your words may have been! Believe me, everyone, this is funnier with two people.
Dewey: Louie, you are so cheap that you travel with two suitcases: one to carry your clothes and the other to sleep in! I miss you.
