Q:

You answered the age question; however, in your answer you say 2-4 year olds are too young. I want a small party for 5-year olds. My grandaughter loves going to tea & understands etiquette. We have gone out to tea several times & I know she would love to take a few friends for a small party. I could stay and help or go to another table.

Joyce R.  asked on  Mar 17, 2013

A:

let us just do it for your group of five years old - please mention their age at reservation for kids tea party. Please do not include younger than 5 years old. Thao

Q:

In an answer to a question, you said that the kids' tea party was for chihldren from 6 - 11. Do you allow parties for kids from 2 - 4 years old?

Maureen R.  asked on  Mar 15, 2013

A:

from past experience we know that too young children would not yet enjoy the idea of high tea and all that comes with it - and this event also includes learning some tea/table etiquette which again the very young ones (below 6 years) would not have the patience for this. For this kids group event we also recommend the parents to not sit at the same table as the kids as they will be taken care of by one of our staff. And what we have seen in the past the very young ones tend to cry and want to be with their mothers only. But the children who are 6 years and beyond really enjoy this experience with us. This is one of our very popular kids events. Thao, manager.

Q:

thanks for answering my questions, I guess I should have been more specific. For $11 I can feed three people? I do not wish to buy the $135 package. I am not interested in the six people children's tea party. If I purchase a groupon at Lisa's Tea for $11 how many people does that serve? again, thanks, Ellen

ellen j.  asked on  Mar 14, 2013

A:

you buy 1 groupon that has a value of 22$. You may order whatever you like and we will deduct the 22$ from your total bill. You can only use 1 groupon if your table is with 5 people or less. Thao, manager

Q:

Are the portions for the Children's Tea Party ample for teens, or is this menu geared more for younger participants? And can they choose from all the sandwiches, or would they have a limited selection? Thank you.

Karen G.  asked on  Mar 14, 2013

A:

the kids' tea party is for children 6-11 of age. The menu will be 2 tea sandwiches (cream cheese Jelly, cucumber cream cheese), mini scone w/ Devonshire cream and preserves, pizza bites, fruit, and ice cream for dessert, tea, lemonade, hot chocolate. We are open to talk with you in more details about the filling of the sandwiches as we will like to offer something that the children will like. Beside enjoying the tea food we will talk a little about tea etiquette, and have fun with cup cake decorating. Thao, manager.

Q:

Hi, I have two daughters that i would love to take to tea, but I can only purchase two groupons. what can i do? thanks Ellen

ellen j.  asked on  Mar 14, 2013

A:

There is a limit of 1 Groupon per table, so you wouldn't need to purchase more than one to redeem when you tea together.

Q:

The fine print for Children's tea party says up to 12 children, but the title says for 6. can the number of children be between 6-12 for the one groupon?

n k.  asked on  Mar 14, 2013

A:

I'm sorry for any confusion. Each Groupon is valid for six people for the children's tea party. You can use 2 Groupons for a total for 12 people.
