Although childhood obesity continues to loom as a health problem both locally and nationwide, the budget cuts imposed on many public schools can limit their ability to help children stay fit. The Little Feet Foundation donates soccer balls to help children around the world engage in athletic activities and build healthy futures.
As part of its Home Field Campaign, Little Feet aims to provide soccer balls for children in Los Angeles public schools. Because they can be shared, each soccer ball can impart physical-fitness benefits to up to 20 children. Encouraging children to exercise can help them establish healthy lives at an early age and prevent the onset of obesity, which is one of the leading causes of serious health issues such as heart disease and diabetes. To date, Little Feet has donated more than 100,000 soccer balls to children in more than 40 countries, encouraging active lives and promoting values such as teamwork and sportsmanship.
Join G-Team and donate $10 to help Little Feet provide Los Angeles public schools with soccer balls and encourage physical activity among kids. If G-Team members raise $500, Little Feet Foundation can donate 50 soccer balls to the Los Angeles Unified School District. Each additional $10 raised will purchase another soccer ball.
Unlike traditional Groupon deals, G-Team campaigns typically don't offer you a "discount" or "savings." So "buyer" beware—when you click "Buy" to donate your time or money to a worthwhile G-Team cause, the only discount you may receive is 100% off free, priceless karma. Read more about G-Team.
