Sitting for a photo was once a long and arduous process, as evidenced by the unkempt facial hair grown by our earliest presidents during their portrait sessions. Capture a clean image with this Groupon.

Q&A with Maci Wainwright, Photographer at Little One Love Photography
Tell us about your business.
One Love and Little One Love Photography is honestly just an extension of my love for life, love, and all of the people in it. I remember when I was young I loved looking back on the pictures of my grandparents' wedding, or my parents in college, or me as a baby! I . . . decided to take my passion . . . and channel it in [such] a way [that] other people can hopefully experience the joy I feel when I see a great photograph.
What makes your business stand out?
As a singer/musician, I've spent a lot of years in front of a camera trying out different things, until I get that perfect shot. I know what it's like to be in photography sessions for hours. I feel like I have a deeper sensitivity for the emotions that go into being a part of a photo shoot, whether it's feeling awkward or just tired! And as far as children go, I understand it's all about patience, patience, patience. Big kids and little kids alike need breaks, and that's ok! I just want to make the best memories we can together, so that one day you'll have priceless images to look back on.
What is the best reaction you’ve ever gotten from a customer?
When people tell me, "All of my family loves the pictures, and I'm telling everyone you took them!" it makes me feel so fulfilled. Everyone knows you're the most honest and real with your family and if they love them, then I'm happy.
What’s your favorite part about your job?
I had one [family] that enlisted my services for their first daughter's twelve month photos. A big one, right? No pressure... Well, after we finished for the day I put together a slide show of our "picks" from the session and played it to "Isn't She Lovely" by Stevie Wonder. Watching the pride on their faces, and the anticipation of showing off their most precious love to everyone they know, brought me the most satisfaction. I think that's what it's all about.
