Photographers preserve subjects’ precious memories, abolishing the need to hastily scoop reflections out of nearby fountains. Seek permanence with today’s Groupon: for $59, you get a photo-shoot package at Little Rascals Photography in Mason (a $232 value). The package includes the following:
- A photo shoot
- One 8”x10” print, two 5”x7” prints, and eight wallet-size prints of one pose in black and white or color<p>
Little Rascals’ seasoned shutterbug, Tracy, captures fleeting memories in their natural habitats, snapping up shots and holiday portraits of families and groups against a variety of studio backdrops or in Sharon Woods Park’s idyllic historical village. Tracy sets up stately senior portraits, snaps shots of newborns in their Easter finery, or pins down photos of smiling Mother’s Day moments before Grandma’s lycanthropy kicks in. In April–November, weather permitting, subjects can decamp to the stunning Heritage Village Museum in Sharon Woods Park, where the natural beauty of cottages, picket fences, and branches laden with freshly grown butlers make photos even more timeless.
After placing an 8”x10” print on the mantel, arranging two 5”x7” prints on a table, and tucking eight wallet photos into unsuspecting pocketbooks, photographees can order extra prints à la carte from Little Rascals. Groupon holders can also gift today’s deal to friends so they can fill frames with holiday photos of their own family, instead of trying to find stock images that resemble them.
Our customers loved this deal last year, earning Little Rascals Photography a spot on Groupon’s Best of 2011 list.
Little Rascals Photography
The two young brothers smile shyly from beneath their caps, their suspenders and bowties slightly askew on their small frames. From behind her camera, Tracy Snyder gently asks the older boy to lean in toward his little brother, and as a mischievous smile breaks across his face, she captures the fleeting grin with the click of a button. A champion of immortalizing moments such as this one, Tracy prides herself on creating essence-capturing portraits thanks to her skill for forging relaxed connections between herself and each of her subjects.
Tracy—a shutterbug with years of experience both behind and in front of the camera—founded Little Rascals Photography as a means of exploring the timeless appeal of old portraits, which is often lost in modern portraiture. This predilection for the past is evidenced in her signature sepia and black-and-white shots that hearken to bygone days, thanks to vintage costuming and careful lighting. Tracy further upholds this old-world approach to photography by hand-tinting her monochromatic shots with pops of color. Her strengths in creating vintage looks also translate to the modern photographing style she uses when taking high-school senior portraits. Each carefully arranged shoot is held either in Tracy’s studio, which houses indoor settings with stairs and windows, or outdoors amid the scenic picket fences and waterfalls found throughout the historic village of Sharon Woods Park.
