The chief child-galvanizer at Little Sport's free range kid-corral, Jen Baker Leonard, shelters shorties in a 6,400-square-foot arena stuffed with fun freeform toys and games for kids ages 6 and younger. An arena membership includes unlimited admission for all family members during open-play hours along with two guest passes. The romping grounds house a crawlers-only area for the extremely young and restless as well as a miniature rock-climbing wall to rouse recess-jaded 6-year-olds. While impressed parents take in kids' complicated cavorts on the spongy tumbling blocks, the multisport cages house child-size games of T-ball, bowling, hockey, lacrosse, horseshoes, and zebra boots. Plenty of padding and a camera-surveillance system ensure safety and peace of mind for players and their parents.
The shoeless facility is free for any babies not yet crawling, and membership includes numerous advantages beyond unlimited playtime and perpetually contented youngsters.
