Liverpool Productions Entertainment began forty years ago. We specialize in entertaining at Weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Schools, Corporate Events and other functions throughout Connecticut and the Tri-State area. Charles F. Rosenay!!!, the President and Founder of Liverpool Productions Entertainment, started entertaining when he was still a student.

While still in his teens, Charles began his career as a disc jockey on the radio, soon transitioning (segueing) into live shows at private parties and nightclubs. Radio was never more than anything but a stepping stone, as it was the live performances which brought out the flair for making audiences dance, laugh, smile and have fun. Charles is a unique DJ who knows how to rock n’ roll, but also who can mix in traditional music when desired. Variety is his forte.

In the ’80s, Charles became the music director and entertainment manager at a legendary downtown New Haven showcase nightclub. It was here that Charles refined his act, which by then included choreographed dance routines, costume changes and the widest mix of music. Prior to this, New England DJs were very limited; they simply played music and occasionally talked.

“Not unlike performers testing out their material on a vaudeville stage, or a comedian delivering his jokes in a nightclub, being onstage night after night cultivated new ground in front of hundreds upon hundreds of people in the club.” It was a venue where DJ creativity and personality flourished.

Along with the other entertainers and interactive dance motivators in the company, Liverpool Productions Entertainment has as much fun at parties as the audience!

We are based in CT but proudly entertain the Tri-State area and all of New England.
