What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Living a FIT Life approaches training with a focus on personalized solutions rather than a single, uniform method. Founder Steve Heck learns about every clients' lifestyle and preferences to design a solution based on their unique goals, abilities and lifestyles to ensure successful health journeys.
Exercise is challenging. How do you keep clients motivated and engaged?
When you allow the client to feel involved in the planning process and design programs based on the clients' individual preferences, they feel more engaged and dedicated. Also, setting short-term goals allows for regular success and chances to give positive feedback, both of which motivate clients.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
I was inspired to start Living a FIT Life because I went through a big transformation of my own -- at one point being 250+lbs and losing 70+lbs. I know what it's like and what it takes to achieve a difficult goal, so I wanted to use my knowledge of fitness and nutrition to help others do the same.
What do you love most about your job?
The most rewarding part of my job is helping others achieve goals they may have struggled with or thought were impossible. It's an amazing feeling to help another person adopt a healthier lifestyle and in turn live a healthier, happier, and more fulfilling life.
