Living Art Social
Craig Kindel and his team of artists are all working painters devoted to their craft. But that doesn't mean their art has to be serious all the time. In a number of local venues, including Ruth's Chris Del Mar and Red Marlin, they teach art classes curated by LivingArtSocial that are relaxed and fun forays into painting. Classes might revolve around recreating colorful classics by prolific artists such as Georgia O'Keefe or even original works by Kindel. Once things get swinging, each student sets up their provided materials in front of a blank canvas on a small easel before following along with step-by-step instructions to bring their works of art to life. Afterward, they take their finished pieces home to hang over the mantel or inside the fridge, where the whole family will see.
