Real-world friends ages 10 and older plot each other’s paint-stained demise during epic gun battles at Lock and Load Paintball and Airsoft. Clad in protective masks and armed with 500 pigment-filled rounds per person, up to 25 warriors disperse across 3 acres of rugged forest terrain in search of enemy fighters and the occasional rogue canvas. Semiautomatic air-powered rifles propel brightly colored orbs through the air, designed to be wielded handily even by those with scant or no paintball experience. A staging area with bathrooms and drinking water affords militias a safe haven from speeding pellets, and additional ammo is available ($15/500 rounds) to support fellow soldiers and ensure even composition during a particularly vibrant offensive.

Self-toted snacks and drinks are recommended to refill stomachs over a full day of colorful blitzkrieg, and a covered picnic and staging area is available to shield snackers from the pigmented play. All players must sign a waiver before taking the field, and all guests are advised to wear closed-toed shoes, long sleeves and pants, or a designated painting tuxedo.
