A Chat with Lola Land Photography
What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Lola Land Photography is an Atlanta based premier photography studio run by me, Kia Lola. Services offered include fashion, head shot and fitness photographic work.
I opened the studio doors in downtown Atlanta after spending five years in the fashion industry (Creative Director of Eco Mode Couture and Art Director of Revolutionary Runway), three in the fine arts field (selected as Art Lab featured artist and exhibited in the Russian Cultural Center), and the next years with athletes (promotional pieces for UFC and Bellator fighters). This unique background allows me to approach photo shoots in a way that stands out in a crowd.
Anyone can take a technically solid photograph, but how many can implement subtle cues that make a head shot stand out in a stack of applications? How many can turn an amateur athlete’s portrait into an image that makes them appear like a powerful and marketable veteran? As a competitive athlete, fashion aficionado and business professional, I can.
Having clients ranging from UFC’s Bigfoot Silva to local advertising agency, Agency 352, I promise quality, originality, professionalism and timely delivery of your images. It is the goal of Lola Land Photography to ensure that each shoot takes minimum time and yields maximum client satisfaction.
What do you love most about your job?
I love collaborating with a diverse set of clientele to produce images that move people either emotionally or professionally. I get the opportunity to work with suit and tie lawyers and then photograph mma superstars the next day. There is never a dull moment, in my opinion.
What is the best reaction you’ve ever gotten from a customer?
I’ve had personalized gifts sent like hand-made jewelry, poetry books and coffee cups with a design by the artist himself, so I think that said a lot about how they felt about the work.
