Lone Star Float House is both the starting point and the ending point of Guadalupe River float trips. Guests arrive the first time via car to rent all the tubes and gear they need for a day on the water. From there, Lone Star buses them to different points along the river, depending on the length of their float—trips can last anywhere from one to six hours. As they float back downriver, the smell of burgers, nachos, and frito pies once again announces their arrival at Lone Star Float House, where they can order a drink and hang out on the patio listening to music or watching other float trips come in for the day.
