Long Acre Farms' Amazing Maize Maze ($10 value for ages 5 and up, $6.50 for ages 2–4) celebrates its 13th year of corn-related convolutions with this year’s five-acre maze, “Lucky 13," a 2.5-mile labyrinth of perplexing paths, two bridges, and an observation tower. Equipped with a flag, a pencil, and a gameboard, trekkers will set out on a husky hootenanny in search of 12 mailboxes, each containing a piece of a map that, when combined, points the way out of the maze. As guests traverse the sea of amber waves, they'll enjoy music, jokes, and puzzles as they look to escape a scarecrow's fate within the cornfield. Access to the Back 40 play area is also included on Thursdays through Sundays from Aug. 13 to Sept. 17, and a hayride is available on Saturdays and Sundays from Sept. 18 to Oct. 31.
