- $199 for Prost! A German Beer Tour for two ($300 value)
Tours begin at the historic Plattduetsche Restaurant and Biergarten, where guests can grab German food and a half-liter of their choice in an authentic 19th-century beer hall. Over beers (including a kolsch-style beer brewed exclusively for the restaurant), guests learn about the intricacies of the Reinheitsgebot, or German Purity Law. The tour then moves on to Black Forest Brew Haus, Long Island’s only German microbrewery, for a flight of their house beers. The final stop takes guests to the new Barrage Brewing Company for samples of their signature beers including the Raven’s Shadow Porter or Necromancer IPA.
Each beer-tour bus holds 14 passengers, so it’s best to book in groups of 6 or less. The tour includes a complimentary beer stein from Tapped Enterprises.
