Commonly Asked Questions

Q:

At one point in the ad it reads permanent makeup. At another, it reads semi-permanent. If I am to opt for the permanent eyelid makeup, which one is it permanent or semi such that it fades away over time?

CYNTHIA G.  asked on  Apr 15, 2013

A:

Sorry for the confusion Cynthia. Long-Time-Liner makeup is emi-permanent. What that means is that we inject in the lower layers of the skin, reducing the risk of inflammation and discoloring (over time). It lasts about 2 - 3 years, depending on skin-type and allows to change the shape later on in case your preferences change. It is a much safer and satisfying procedure. I hope that answers your question. Best, your team at the MedSpa

Q:

ok-- i want a "french manicure" perm. eyeliner-- creamy beige on top of the green liner - and a green liner at the lashes on the top lid , and green liner on the bottom can you do that and what is the price? would the groupon that is on line right now be eligible for this if not -- what is the cost

kati j.  asked on  Apr 17, 2013

A:

Hello Kati, I can do that for you - no problem. However, we need to do tradiditional permanent make-up and not LongTime-Liner for this type of tattoo. The cost is $400 for the procedure and you need to come visit the store for a consultation, so that I can pick out the right color together with you. Cheers, Yvonne from your MediSpa team.

Q:

I am interested in permanent makeup for by brows. How many applications does it customarily take? Does it look natural? What is the cost? Thanks, Patricia

patricia b.  asked on  Apr 15, 2013

A:

Hello Patricia, Depending on how well your skin receives the pigments, its either one treatment only, or a follow-up visit within two weels - free of charge of course. The downtime for brows is virtually zero, and for eyeliner it is about two days. Cheers, your team at mediSpa Long-Time-Liner

Q:

How painful are these procedures and what is the recovery and downtime?

Nina M.  asked on  Apr 15, 2013

A:

We apply a numming agent (topical cream) to eliminate almost all of the pain. Since contour makeup penetrates less deep than traditional tattoo makeup, there is less pain and less risk of inflammation in the first place. However, to be completely truthful, makeup on the eyelids will be felt a litle bit, since naturally, the skin is very thin and around the eye we have to be very careful when applying any numming agents. I hope that helps and we can welcome you in our store. Lon-Time-Liner Contour Makeup really looks great and we have the latest machines as well as Level-II associate training.
