What You'll Get
Maestro Ronald Feldman wields the baton as the Longwood Symphony presents their season finale at the New England Conservatory. Pianist Di Wu joins the orchestra to play Rachmaninoff's Third Piano Concerto -- one of the most technically challenging piano concertos in the standard classical repertoire. China-born Wu can handle it, though, as her talents have carried her across the globe, charming audiences from East to West with her "charisma, steely technique, and keen musical intelligence" (Philadelphia Inquirer) and her "fire and authority" at the keyboard (Washington Post). Rounding out the program will be Schreker's Scherzo and Harris' Symphony No. 3.
The running time of this concert is approximately two hours. It is not recommended for children under the age of six.
